About the Covered Bridge Garden Club

The Covered Bridge Garden Club is happy to announce that in 2023 it was admitted into the Garden Club Federation of PA, a 501 (c) 3 organization.

Since 1964 the Covered Bridge Garden Club has helped develop activities that support home gardening and the horticultural experience for our club members and the surrounding Valley Forge, PA community.

The Covered Bridge Garden Club is always looking for potential speakers and venues to visit to further educate our members about nature, the environment, horticulture, floral design and home gardening.

Each year we endeavor to support a local non-profit with a horticultural connection. Beginning in 2017, we made a 5 year commitment to provide a portion of our annual Plant Sale proceeds to Valley Forge Park Alliance, a 501(c)3 non-profit which supports Valley Forge National Historical Park. This commitment was renewed for an additional 5 years in 2022. In 2024, we began a new partnership with the historic Duportail House in Chesterbrook and have begun work on the design and installation of a new Pollinator Garden on the property adjacent to the parking area.
